Florida Rough For NCMC

Dec 13, 2018 | Basketball, North Central Missouri College, Sports & Recreation

The North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team had a tough time in South Beach this week. The Pirates suffered a 106-45 loss to Miami Dade College on Tuesday and fell 79-48 to ASA Miami on Wednesday. The two losses in Florida dropped the North Central women to 6-7 overall on the season.
“In both games we struggled right out of the gate and just couldn’t recover,” Head Coach Jenni Croy said.
Against Miami Dade, Hailey Burrows led the Pirates with 13 points. Burrows had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pirates against ASA as well. Da’Briauna Bables followed with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Crystal Eureste scored 10 in that game.
The NCMC women will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 9, playing host to Southeastern Community College at the Ketcham Community Center. The game tips off at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a men’s game at 7:30.
