Ricky C. Crawford, a 59-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Sunday night, Nov. 25, 2018 at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home at Trenton. No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Crawford was born on Feb. 25, 1959 in Trenton, the son of Richard and Judith Welch Crawford. He was a graduate of Trenton High School and served in the U.S. Navy.
He was married on Nov. 22, 1980 in San Diego, CA to Cheryl Lynn Powers, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by two daughters, Tiffany Crawford and Jennifer Hessenflow and her husband, Benjamin, all of Chillicothe; one son, Zachery Crawford of Chillicothe; his mother and step-father, Judy and Bob Dreier of Clinton; and five grandchildren, Dezeray Crawford, Carly Minard, Emily Minard, Nick Hessenflow and Alexis Hessenflow.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Crawford; one brother, Larry Crawford; and one sister, Chery Crawford.
Memorials are suggested to the funeral home to help with expenses.
