The Grundy County Commission met Monday, hiring a local duo to handle snow removal at county buildings.
According to Grundy County Clerk Betty Spickard, there were no bids submitted for snow removal and the commission agreed to hire Gott Brothers to perform snow removal duties this season. The cost will be the same as last year, which is $500 per snow event and $250 for ice melt only. The agreement includes the courthouse, Grundy County Law Enforcement Center and the prosecutor’s office.
