North Central Missouri College Political Science Instructor, Dr. Sterling Recker recently attended the 2018 Mid-American Alliance for African Studies conference held at the University of Iowa. Dr. Recker, president for MAAAS, led and helped organize the conference and presented on the topic “Competing Narratives of Destruction and Development: The Politicization of Memory in Post-Genocide Rwanda” to several regional colleges and universities in attendance.
