The Laredo seventh and eighth grade basketball teams were in action against Pleasant View on Monday at the Laredo Tournament. Laredo won both games by close scores, taking the girls contest 18-17 and the boys game 23-17.
In girls action, Lainie Lewis had eight points to pace the Tigers while Astrid Soriano finished with nine to lead Pleasant View. The boys game saw Gabe Novak lead Laredo with 12 points while Kiefer Tolson scored 10 for the Blue Jays.
