Walter William “Bill” Smith, a 63-year-old resident of Spickard, died on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at his home.
The body will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later time. Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home of Milan is handling arrangements.
Mr. Smith was born on March 24, 1956, the son of Frank and Esther Heiple Smith. He worked 30 years at ConAgra in Trenton.
He is survived by his mother, Esther Smith of Bevier; a daughter, Jennifer (Tracy Trask) Courtney of Laredo; one son, Nevin Smith of Trenton; a granddaughter, Jessica Courtney of Laredo; a sister, Sue Hunt and her husband, Bill of Gallatin; five brothers, Russell Smith and his wife, Lisa of Milan, Bob Smith and his wife, Lesa of Milan, Johnny Johnson and his wife, Michelle of Clinton, David Smith and his wife, Michelle of Bevier and Ben Smith of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
