Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 23 and continuing through Thursday, Oct 25, Trenton Municipal Utilities will be flushing fire hydrants.
System flushing is required annually. By testing the fire hydrants, this helps to update fire protection records.
Work will begin in the area located from the railroad tracks east to Highway 65 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Customers can expect some discolored water and air in their house services and are advised to use caution when doing laundry. Over the next few weeks, it will be necessary to run the tap water until it is clear and not do laundry until the water clears.
For questions, persons should call 359-2838 or 359-2281.
