A charge of driving while intoxicated is facing a Trenton man who is being charged as an aggravated offender.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michael L. Puckett, 41, is charged with the class D felony, accused of operating a motor vehicle Oct. 18 on Pleasant Plain while under the influence of alcohol. He has three prior DWI convictions and is also being held on a probation violation in connection with one of those convictions. Puckett is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on bonds totaling $35,000 cash only. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 23 on the new charge and Nov. 15 on the probation violation.
