The Mercer and Grundy R-5 junior high basketball teams drew a split on Monday night in Mercer with the Cardinals taking the girls contest 39-13 and the Panthers winning the boys game 32-6.
In the girls contest, Grundy got five points from Daya Allnutt while the boys received 16 points from Corbin Axtell and seven from Logan Foster.
