Website Recognizes NCMC Online Health Science Program

AffordableCollegesOnline.org has recognized North Central Missouri College for offering one of the best online health science programs in the country. ACO provides free data, information, resources, and rankings about pursuing affordable higher education.
In recent rankings, the NCMC online health science program ranked sixth in the nation.
“In our seventh annual survey of online learning programs across the nation, we wanted to honor the colleges and universities that are providing innovative ways for students to complete a degree,” said Dan Schuessler, CEO and founder of AffordableCollegesOnline.org. “These schools are going above and beyond the industry standard to help make online education programs more accessible and affordable.”
Only accredited public, not-for-profit institutions with at least one online program were eligible for these rankings. The primary data points used to identify the best online colleges and programs for 2018 include the following:
• Acceptance rates.
• Cost of tuition.
• Number of full-time students.
• Graduation rates.
“Our online health science programs provide quality training experiences that prepare students for workforce readiness,” said NCMC Dean of Insturction Mitch Holder. “These program offerings are vital to maintaining a skilled workforce in north Missouri. The online component allows students to be trained according to their health science field while many continue to work full-time jobs and support families.”
