Dusty J. Wheeler
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church at Princeton with Kenny Wilson officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, IA.
Family visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mr. Wheeler was born on Aug. 13, 1982 at Kirksville, the son of Melvin and Kathy Clark Wheeler. He graduated from Grundy R-5 High School at Galt and received an associate’s degree from North Central Missouri College in Trenton. He attended Franklin University in Ohio, graduating with a bachelor’s degree and had recently become certified in medical transcription.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Princeton.
He was married on May 19, 2007 at Galt to Sarah M.G. Pengelly, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by his mother and step-father, Kathy and Marion Tolle of Edinburg, TX; his father, Melvin Wheeler and his companion, Nancy Bragg, Cairo; a sister, Tisha Tolle and her husband, Marion of Lake Village, IN; a niece, Rachelle Tolle and a nephew, Austin Tolle, both of Rosemount, MN; three step-sisters, Marchele Jerome and her husband, Jim of Van Alstyne, TX, Marcia Patridge and her husband, Jeff of Jefferson City and Marlisa Klinginsmith and her husband, Kevin of Trenton; and his cats, Big Britches, Blossom, Studley and Callie.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Wheeler; one nephew, Malcolm Tolle; and his grandparents, Bob and Barbara Clark, Janet Wyatt, Max Wheeler and Helen Tolle.
Memorials are suggested to either the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left at Slater Funeral Home at Trenton, which is in charge of arrangements.
