The Trenton High School volleyball team was at home on Monday night, falling to the visiting Lexington Minutewomen, 25-17, 25-20.
Trenton was able to stay with Lexington for the majority of both games, but late pushes by the Minutewomen down the stretch doomed the Bulldogs each time, sending the visitors home with a 2-0 victory.
Individual statistics from the game were not immediately available, but will be added to the story when they are.
The loss dropped Trenton to 9-12-3 overall on the season. The Bulldogs will travel to St. Joseph on Tuesday to take on LeBlond. Trenton will be back at home again next Monday, playing host to St. Joseph Christian. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
