Oct 9, 2018 | Headline News

The Princeton City Council took action on three service contracts at its meeting on Monday night.
According to Assistant City Clerk Corey Willett, the council approved a service contract with the Mercer County Council on Aging for $240 to pay for live music at a dinner at the Mercer County Senior Center. Two service contracts with the Princeton Chamber of Commerce were also approved. The first was for $150, which would pay for the Princeton High School Band and Choir to perform at the “Christmas Around the Square” event in December. The second was for $350, which would pay for a band to perform at a tractor cruise event honoring Loren Hickman on Oct. 14 at the senior center.
The fall clean-up is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27. Arrangements will be made with Rapid Removal for a trash container to be available for public use.
The next meeting of the council is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
