Mrs. Trombley, a 60-year-old Trenton resident, died at 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Prairie Village, KS, where she was under hospice care.
Mrs. Trombley was born on Sept. 20, 1958 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Donald Willis and Lucille Carpenter (Tubbs McKitterick) Rosche. She grew up in Edina, MN and graduated from Edina West High School with the class of 1977. She received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Stephens College in Columbia. She was married on May 31, 1980 in Edina, MN to Tad Trombley.
She was very active in many groups and clubs, including Antique Study Club, book club and many bridge clubs.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Tad of the home; a daughter, Dr. Kalista Engelman and her husband, Dr. Peter Engelman of Prairie Village, KS; a son, Austin Trombley of San Francisco, CA; a brother, Roger Rosche and his wife, Yoshiko of Singapore; and three grandchildren, Jack, Lucy and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family suggests memorials to the Green Hills Animal Shelter. They can be left at or mailed to the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. The family requests no flowers be sent.
