Roger D. Wilson, a 69-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26, 2018 in Spickard.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home at Trenton.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at the North Evans Cemetery, east of Spickard. Rev. Richard Rogers will officiate.
Mr. Wilson was born on Oct. 6, 1948 in Spickard, the son of Oral Everett and Violet Anderson Wilson. He graduated from Spickard High School. He was a long-time employee of MFA at both the Spickard and Trenton locations.
He was married on Feb. 14, 1980 at Princeton to Melinda J. Bryan, who survives of Trenton.
He is also survived by two sons, Justin Wilson of Columbia and Bryan Speck and his wife, Sarah of Shawnee, KS; two granddaughters, Gracyn and Katelyn Speck, both of Shawnee; and his mother, Violet Wilson of Spickard.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Darrell Wilson; and one sister, Twila Glidewell.
