LaVerne Leininger, a 96-year-old resident of Boone, IA, died on Sunday evening, Sept 23, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at the church.
Mr. Leininger is survived in this area by a son, Larry Leininger and his wife, Judie of Trenton; 21 grandchildren including granddaughters, Shelly Leininger of Trenton and Stacey Clodfelter and her husband, Kent of Liberty and grandson, Shawn Leininger and his wife, Cara of Laredo; 33 great-grandchildren including, Eli, Ella and Lydia Leininger and Ashley and Zachary Burson; and one great-great-grandchild.
