Ormah Jean Mason, an 88-year-old former Spickard resident, died on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Colorado.
Graveside services and inurnment are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at Coon Cemetery east of Mill Grove. Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mason was born on Nov. 23, 1929 to Waitman and Velma (Clark) Clemens. She grew up and graduated from Spickard High School. After graduation, she played music on WHO radio in Iowa. She was married in 1952 to Bill G. Mason. They had two children, John W. and Donelda J. Mason, who survive. She is also survived by two grandchildren, John Kenneth Mason and Chelsea Lee Mason.
Her family moved to Colorado in 1972 and she and her husband were divorced in 1972. She worked many years in Denver, CO for Channel 4 TV, where she retired. After retirement, she moved back to Spickard to take care of her parents. She moved back to Colorado after her mother’s death.
She enjoyed music, quilting and exploring new areas.
She was preceded in death by Bill Mason and her parents.
