TMS Softball Team Handed Losses

Madi Moore rockets a ball to the outfield during the Trenton Middle School softball team’s 9-0 loss to Polo on Thursday at Johnson Field. Megan Spencer threw a complete game for the Bulldogs, only allowing four hits, but it wasn’t enough as Polo prevailed. Trenton and Polo tied 8-8 in the B game. The middle school Bulldogs returned to the diamond on Saturday, competing in the Hamilton Tournament where they ran a record of 0-3. Trenton fell 9-5 to Gallatin, 15-7 to Cameron and 8-6 to Hamilton. TMS will be back in action on Tuesday, playing host to Milan at 5:30 p.m.
