Changes have been announced for the Saturday, Oct. 6 car cruise, which has been held throughout the summer on Ninth Street.
According to organizer Jeremy Soptic, the cruise will be moved to downtown Trenton, along Main Street between 12th Street and Five Points. The area will be blocked off to designate a parking area for cars involved in the cruise.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with the Five Points Alive group serving food items from “The Space.” The menu will include Frito Dogs, Chicago Dogs, New York Dogs, cole slaw, dessert and brownies. Proceeds from the sale will go toward the group’s efforts to purchase Christmas lights for the downtown area. Trey’s Place will also be open and plans to have food specials as well.
