Author, storyteller, singer and songwriter Shelly Long will be featured at the Friday, Sept. 14 Trenton R-9 Preschool/Parents as Teachers Playgroup, “Stories in September.”
All children ages birth through five are invited to attend the event with an adult and will be entertained by stories and original children’s tunes performed with song and guitar. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a stuffed animal friend to the playgroup, which will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. There will be free books available with the author signing them, as well as crafts and outdoor fun. Those planning to attend should enter through the preschool doors. There will be no Trenton R-9 preschool classes on that day.
