Local, Area Residents Hurt In Accidents

Trenton and Princeton residents were injured in accidents investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Wednesday.
Carla Dobbs, 39, of Trenton received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 6, two miles west of Green City. The patrol said Ms. Dobbs was the driver of a car that was eastbound when it was sideswiped by an unknown vehicle that continued from the scene. Ms. Dobbs’ vehicle came to rest in a ditch. She was taken to the Sullivan County Hospital in Milan for treatment. The vehicle received minor damage.
The second accident involved two Princeton residents on Wednesday morning in Randolph County.
Terri A. Kelly, 45, was driving a car southbound on Highway 63, one-half mile north of Cairo, when it struck a deer in the roadway. The car came to rest on the shoulder of the road. Ms. Kelly and a passenger, four-year-old Maccrea Kelly, received minor injuries and were transported to the Moberly Regional Hospital. The car received extensive damage.
