Graveside services for JoAnn Grumbine will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
Open visitation will begin Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, 2018 at the Resthaven Mortuary.
Mrs. Grumbine, a 94-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 in Kansas City.
Mrs. Grumbine was born in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Ben and Belle Shotwell. After high school she served in the United States Army during WWII.
She was married on March 25, 1950 in Farmington, NM to Nathan Grumbine, who preceded her in death in 1996. They lived in Venezuela for 10 years before moving to Jamesport, where they lived from 1965 until 1972. They then moved to Trenton. Mrs. Grumbine worked as a long-time employee for the Gables Restaurant in Trenton.
Mrs. Grumbine is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter. They be left with or mailed to the mortuary.
