Judge Steven D. Hudson

Quentin L.A. Lewis, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, a class A misdemeanor, and was fined $150. He also pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license (second offense), a class A misdemeanor, and was fined $87.50. He pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle, a class B misdemeanor, and was fined $27.50. He also pleaded guilty to not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle, a class D misdemeanor, and was fined $27.50. He is also to pay $116.50 costs.
Hunter R. Horton, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective equipment and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Tiffany D. Knapp, Trenton; and Samantha S. Midgyett, Chillicothe.
Jeffrey Chad Corbin, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class D felony. His motion to disqualify Judge Hudson was sustained and the case was forwarded to Presiding Judge Jack Peace for judge assignment.
Alfred D. Green, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, a class E felony, and damage to a jail or jail property, a class E felony. His cases were certified to the Circuit Division on charges of driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor; operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license, a class D misdemeanor; failing to obey a traffic control device, a class C misdemeanor; and driving to the left side of the roadway within 100 feet of a bridge/viaduct or tunnell when his view was obstructed, a class C misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Sept. 6.
William E. Grimes IV, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of stealing, a class E felony. He is scheduled to appear in court again Sept. 6.
