North Central Missouri College will hold its tax rate hearing prior to its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
The hearing will be at 5:25 p.m. in the Frey Administrative Center, with the board meeting to follow at 5:30 p.m.
NCMC is proposing a tax levy of 38.55 cents on the $100 assessed valuation, which is slightly higher than a year ago due to a decrease in the college district’s assessment. The proposed tax rate is estimated to generate $333,500.
