Aug. 1: officers made two arrests on warrants at a north business and made an arrest for burglary at an east residence.
Aug. 2: an abandoned vehicle was towed from an east business and officers responded to a juvenile matter at an east residence.
Aug. 3: a theft was investigated at a west residence.
Aug. 4: an arrest on a warrant was made in the west part of town and officers responded to a domestic dispute at a north residence. A theft was reported in the east part of town.
Aug. 5: nuisance violations were investigated at east residences and in the south part of town. Officers made arrests on warrants at an east residence and a south residence and property damage was reported at a west residence.
Aug. 6: two thefts were investigated at an east business.
Aug. 7: an arrest for possession of a controlled substance was made at an east business and officers investigated a theft at an east business.
Aug. 8: two nuisance violations were investigated at an east residence.
Aug. 9: a juvenile matter was investigated at an east residence and officers investigated a nuisance violation at a west residence.

Aug. 9: firefighters responded to what was found to be a false alarm at a residence and participated in the Bright Futures Back to School Event at the First Christian Church.
