Former Princeton Resident Awards Scholarship

Smithville businessman and former Princeton resident Zane Myers, right, has established a $1,000 scholarship through his business, the Zane Myers Agency, to be awarded to a 2019 graduate of Smithville High School. The one-time, non-renewable scholarship can be used at any college, university or trade school and will be administered by the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri. Myers is a Princeton High School graduate and earned a bachelor of science degree in business management and marketing from Northwest Missouri State University in 2012. He is employed by Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance, with offices at Smithville and Plattsburg, and he and his wife, Taylor, reside in Smithville.
