Juanita Jane Sprouse, a 97-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. There will be a private burial later in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Open visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sprouse was born on Feb. 18, 1921 in Princeton, the daughter of Edward and Velma Campbell Worley. She graduated from Princeton High School.
She was married on Aug. 10, 1957 at the Wesley United Methodist Church to Reuben Sprouse, who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2002. For 35 years she worked with Wright Photography.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include her step-son, Gary Sprouse of Dawn; and a nephew, Bill Vaughn of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Janice Vaughn; a step-mother, Ruth Worley; a step-daughter, Barbara Long and step-brother, Bob Worley.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
