Charles C. Bennett, an 80-year-old King City resident and former resident of the Humphreys/Trenton area, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City after suffering a stroke on June 13, 2018.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Bennett was born on Sept. 14, 1937 in Trenton, the son of Fred and Lydia Rader Bennett.
He is survived by a son, Willard Bennett and his wife, Penny of Milan; a daughter, Janean Bankson and her husband, Robert, of Trenton; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Nolan Bennett.
