The Grundy County Genealogical Society met on Monday, June 25 at the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library with 11 members present.
Bob Chenoweth of the Grundy County Museum gave the program on the Korean display, located in the war memorial building annex. Chenoweth served in Korea in the early 1950s. He said the museum is looking for families willing to share stories about their loved ones who served in Korea. Persons having photos, medals, souvenirs or anything that would lend itself for display can contact the museum.
The next meeting will be at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 30 in the genealogy room of the library.
