Laredo School Board To Meet

The Laredo R-7 Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the school.
Items on the announced agenda include closing out the 2017-18 school budget, approval of the preliminary budget for 2018-19, setting the tax rate hearing, faculty/staff and student handbooks, the emergency management plan, discussion of bookkeeping, a report on bus transportation and approval of the transportation report, the summer maintenance report, a safety and personnel report, rescheduling the audit for Aug. 3 and bank information. An executive session is also planned for personnel, legal matters, student matters and records covered under the open meetings law.
