Absentee Ballots Available For Aug. 7, 2018 Primary Election

Jun 25, 2018 | Headline News

Absentee ballots for the Aug. 7 Primary Election will be available in the Grundy County Clerk’s Office on Tuesday, June 26.
Those needing to cast absentee ballots will need to ask for a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green or Constitution party ballot. The only local contested race is for presiding commissioner, with three names – incumbent Rick Hall, Phil Ray and Mark Moore – all on the Republican ballot. No Democrats filed for the seat, so the winner of the primary election will take office on Jan. 1, 2019. Several statewide offices have contested races and Missouri voters will be asked to cast ballots in favor or against Proposition A, which is the Right to Work amendment to the state constitution.
