Kaci Persell of Trenton will be part of a four-member team representing Missouri at the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships being held in Grand Island, NE on June 24-29.
Miss Persell is a member of the hunting and outdoors skills team and was chosen for the team following tryouts last fall. Four youth with the top scores were chosen to make up the team from Missouri. Her teammates include Wyatt Link of Linn County, Josie Brennan of Boone County and Chris Bowles of Jasper County.
The team will compete in archery, shotgun, rifle and compass and will test in the areas of wildlife management, wildlife identification, first aid, outdoor equipment and safety and game laws.
Miss Persell is the daughter of Shane and Anna Persell of Trenton.
