Austin Taul Is Newest Grundy County Deputy

Trenton native Austin Taul, left, was sworn in as the newest Grundy County Deputy Sheriff on Friday, June 15. Deputy Taul, who was sworn in by Third Circuit Judge Jack Peace at the Grundy County courthouse, is a 2013 graduate of Trenton High School. He earned an associates degree in criminal justice from North Central Missouri College and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. On Thursday, June 14, he graduated from the Missouri Western State University Law Enforcement Academy. Sheriff Rodney Herring said Deputy Taul’s employment brings the department to full staff.
