The North Central Missouri College Board of Trustees voted to make application for cost of living funds for the Green Hills Head Start program during a special meeting on Monday.
All six board members voted in favor of the application, which will provide additional federal funding to increase salary and other benefits for Head Start employees. The application submission deadline is June 18.
Head Start Director Dr. Bev Hooker also updated the board on the status of the Head Start center in Hamilton.
The next regular meeting of the board will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19. This is one week earlier than the usual meeting date.
