The Galt Board of Aldermen accepted resignations from two individuals during a meeting on Saturday afternoon.
City Clerk Ashley Boren said Mayor Chris Bonnett and alderman-at-large Victor Tunnell have both resigned from the board. With the two openings, persons interested in filling the unexpired terms can contact Mrs. Boren during office hours from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays at city hall.
In other business, an update on the nuisances and deteriorated or damaged buildings ordinance was tabled.
The next meeting will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9.
