Four North Central Missouri College students were recently recognized by the Missouri Community College Association for their leadership or participation in Phi Theta Kappa. Nicole Kost, in the top photo with NCMC Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Tristan Londre, received the PTK New Century Workforce Scholar award, honoring PTK students who are entering the workforce after graduation. Janelle Popish, pictured in the second photo from the top with Dr. Londre, was presented with the Student Leadership Award, which is given to an exceptional PTK student leader from each of Missouri’s community college campuses. Recipients must have a GPA of at least 2.5. Adam Rice, second from bottom, and Brandon Young, bottom, were named as PTK All Missouri Scholars. This award is presented to outstanding PTK students graduating from a community college and transferring to a four-year institution.
