The Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri is seeking homeowners and renters/landlords interested in participating in the CAPNCM Weatherization Program.
Funds are currently available for income-qualified individuals who want to make energy improvements to their homes in an effort to lower utility bills and improve comfort while ensuring health and safety. The program can help with minor improvements and repairs such as sealing around doors and windows to reduce air leaks, improving existing insulation and installation of carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
Interested persons are asked to call the agency office to request an application, 855-290-8544, ext. 1064, or visit the agency website at www.capncm.org. It is noted that there is a waiting list for the program and it could take several months before persons hear back from the agency staff regarding their application.
