The Trenton High School Class of 2018 will hold its baccalaureate ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton.
Seniors Ella Leininger and Claire Utley will perform the prelude and postlude with the welcome to be given by THS Senior Class President Tyler Kidd. Chase Marsh will have the invocation. Class Vice President Jayden Roeder will give the scripture reading and Emily Kasinger will have the devotion.
Following an introduction by Class Secretary Hannah Persell, THS Science Instructor Charlie Bacon will give the teacher’s message. Senior members of the THS choir will perform “I’ll Always Remember You” and Sydney Evans will give the benediction.
Baccalaureate will take place after the THS senior awards program, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the high school gymnasium.
THS graduation ceremonies are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 13 at the Ketcham Community Center. In additon to the presentation of diplomas, the class valedictorian and salutatorian will give the commencement address and the top academic students will be recognized.
