For the second time, the Grundy County Commission will hold a mandatory pre-bid meeting to discuss the remodeling of the third floor courtroom at the county courthouse.
The meeting will be held in the courtroom at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29. A scope of work to be completed will be available at that time for carpentry, electrical and carpet work. The county had held a pre-bid meeting in 2016, but did not move forward with the courtroom remodeling project at that time. Third Circuit Judge Jack Peace has requested that the project be done, with work to include moving the judge’s bench, making adjustments to the jury box and other changes.
