Bright Futures Trenton is organizing a community-wide Back to School event for the 2018-2019 school year.
One way the organization wants to support families in the Trenton R-9 School District is by helping to get Trenton Bulldog apparel into the hands of students who might not be able to afford to purchase such items. This drive is being called “Pass the Pride.”
Bright Futures is asking anyone in the community who has gently-used Trenton Bulldog t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc., to donate these items to Bright Futures Trenton, which will then “pass the pride” on to families in need at the Back to School event.
All sizes of apparel are needed. So, before placing Trenton Bulldog shirts in a garage sale, perons are being asked to please consider donating them to Bright Futures Trenton.
Collection barrels will be placed at the local grocery stores beginning on May 1 or persons can drop off items at the Rissler Elementary School. For more information, persons can contact volunteer Lynn Griffin or Bright Futures Coordinator Terri Critten, at 359-2228.
