Members of the Trenton High School Scholar Bowl team captured top honors in the Class 3, District 15 contest held on Saturday. Trenton defeated Brookfield 2-0 to move on to the sectional competition at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 at Savannah. Lawrence Link was the second-high individual scorer at the tournament. This is the second year in a row that Trenton has captured the Class 3, District 15 title. Team members participating on Saturday were, from left, Mackenzie Klinginsmith, Tanner Franklin, Dakota Cutsinger, Jacob Roy, Lawrence Link and advisor Alicyn Studyvin. Also on the team but not pictured are Anakin Burkeybile, Karissa Brock, Leah Polk, Madi Cutsinger, Ellie Boman and Kasen Christy. Trenton has a 10-2 record on the season.
