Several activities are planned in celebration of Earth Day during an event in Trenton on Sunday, April 22.
The activities will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Garden, which is located at Harris Avenue, just north of the Food Pantry/Thrift Shop building. Persons of all ages are invited to take part in building and planting projects as well as outdoor games and educational activities. Last year’s event drew several individuals who participated in the planting of vegetables and flowers as well as spreading mulch and learning about the no-till practice now being used at the site.
