Ronald D. Gannon, a 76-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Thursday evening, March 29, 2018 at the Saint Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton with Rev. Steve Merrin officiating.
There is no scheduled family visitation at Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. An open visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Mr. Gannon was born on Dec. 2, 1941, in Trenton, the son of Orty Tye Acel and Flora M. Wimer Gannon. He graduated from Trenton High School. Before retiring, he was employed as an appliance serviceman for Arbuckle’s Maytag of Trenton.
His survivors include two sisters, Joyce Hamilton of Marshalltown, IA and Martha Arbuckle and her husband, Mike of Liberty.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carolyn Sealock; and two brothers, Dean Gannon and Larry Gannon.
