The Trenton Lions Club met on Tuesday, March 27, with nine members present.
President Seth Cox, led the pledge to the flag, followed by prayer by Rev. Steve Martin. George Moore served as “tailtwister.”
Rev. Martin presented the program on “Helping Small Towns Succeed: A Training Program for Community Developers.” Members discussed 20 areas that are critical components for rural community success, including community pride, quality business and community life, shared decision making, cooperative community spirit, active economic development, strong education and health care services, religious institutions, media support, fiscal responsibility and technological resources.
Members present voted to donate $300 to Rylan Miller’s fund to help with medical expenses.
The next meeting of Trenton Lions Club will be a business/administrative meeting at noon on Tuesday, April 3.
