In district competition held on Tuesday night, the Trenton FFA chapter qualified one individual for state competition in April in Columbia as well as the Conduct of Meetings Team, which earned a gold rating and placed second. Nick Velazquez earned a gold in advanced public speaking and will be an alternate at the state contest. The FFA Knowledge Team placed ninth and is an alternate to the state contest, with Eric Wong as the eighth high individual on the Knowledge Team.
