Mary “Sue” Brundage, an 84-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at a Princeton nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Newtown Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.
A family visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the church. Roberson Funeral Home of Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brundage was born on Oct. 10, 1933 in Newtown, the daughter of John David and Hazel Izorah Smith Sandford. She was a 1951 graduate of Newtown High School. She worked as the superintendent’s secretary for Newtown High School for two years and for Hallmark Cards for one year. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and canning foods. She was a member of the Newtown Christian Church.
She was married on March 1, 1955 in Newtown to Finis Eldon Brundage, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by four sons, Jerry (Tammie) Brundage of Princeton, Casey (Angie) Brundage of Trenton and John Brundage and George Brundage, both of Princeton; two daughters, Deanna Brundage of Mercer and Lesa (David) Morrow of Ashland; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Idell Thompson of Higginsville; sisters-in-law, Loretta Brundage of Unionville, Anna Lee Blanchard of Lucerne; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers-in-law, June Thompson, George, Keith and Robert Brundage, Mikkie Blanchard and Sammy Valentine; and two sisters-in-law, Roylynn Brundage and Mardell Valentine.
