Mary Belle Gates, a 78-year-old resident of Gilman City, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Bethany.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the funeral home, where general visitation will begin after 2 p.m.
Mrs. Gates is survived by a son, Allen Gates of Gilman City; a daughter, Marsha (Roy) Clemens of Stet; a granddaughter, Delta Clemens; a brother, Gerald Bennum of Gower; sisters-in-law, Maudine Bennum of New Hampton, Esther Miller of Kearney and Vera Mae Gates; Allen’s God-daughter, Clarice Smith of Stewartsville and her children, Dylon Pemberton, Bradley and Thomas Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
