The Pleasant View and Laredo fifth and sixth grade basketball teams met on Tuesday in Laredo for a girls-boys doubleheader. Laredo won the girls game 26-14, while Pleasant View took the boys game 19-10.
In the girls game, Laredo got 13 points from Lainie Lewis and six from Ayra Meeker. Pleasant View was paced by eight points from Astrid Soriano and Makina Limkemann had six. The boys game saw Kiefer Tolson lead the ’Jays with 10 points and Mason Meservey had seven. Laredo had five players all score two points each.
