City Council Will Meet On Monday

The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 12 at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Mid-State Services for the attachment of fiber optic lines to city utility poles, an ordinance amending the city’s business and occupation license ordinance, an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Burns and McDonnell to provide engineering services for the water tower repainting project, an ordinance authorizing an amendment to the city’s agreement with Lathrop Gage LLP and Environmental Special Services for work at the water treatment plant, discussion of the reverse 911 notification system, discussion of the MoDOT proposal regarding Highway 6 through Trenton, discussion ofrecycling with Hope Haven and discussion of a hiring freeze until the next budget year. An executive session for real estate is also planned.
