The Trenton High School Quiz Bowl Team was in action on Monday afternoon, taking two matches in a three-team Grand River Conference competition at THS.
Trenton defeated Maysville in the first match, 320-200, then bested Princeton 420-110 in the third match of the evening. In between, Maysville downed Princeton by three points, 243-241.
Competing for Trenton at Monday’s competition were Tanner Franklin, Dakota Cutsinger, Jacob Roy, Lawrence Link, Anikan Burkeybile, Mackenzie Klinginsmith and Madi Cutsinger. Princeton’s team included Andrew Birge, Jerod McClain, Charlee Prentice and Robert Esposito.
The next contest for the THS team will be on Monday, March 12 at Unionville against Putnam County and Gallatin.
